Environmental education is learning about environmental issues. We focus on areas that help us to understand how life works, how we interact with the natural world and our impact upon it and how we can use it sustainably.
Although elements of environmental education can be found within Forest School, it is not the same. Activities may be a single session or series of sessions, often with specific outcomes and will be designed in line with specific client needs, such as to:
- Fit in with a topic or theme of work in line with the national curriculum;
- Develop or use a piece of land;
- Engage interest from a wider group which could include parents or the local community
For more information about the activities we offer, please see our What activities do we offer page.
