If you are a Level 3 Forest School leader then it is essential that you keep your first aid qualification up to date with renewals every three years.
We offer the Forest School First Aid (ITC) which takes 16 hours of learning, delivered over 2 days.
This outdoor focused course has been developed to suit Forest School practitioners, as well as other people who take groups into the outdoors such as school or nursery staff, Duke of Edinburgh supervisors, youth workers, play leaders, Scout and Guide leaders and countryside management staff.
The course covers emergency first aid and incident management as well as first aid for young children and adults. There is an emphasis on activities that could lead to incidents in the outdoors.
As you might expect, part of this course is delivered outside, so please come with appropriate clothing for the conditions.
Our next course will be held in on 15th – 16th February 2018. If you are interested in booking a place then please do get in touch as we can only take a limited number.
The Forest School First Aid course will take place at Rosliston Forestry Centre in Derbyshire in the heart of the Midlands, which is easily accessible from locations across Staffordshire, Nottinghamshire and Leicestershire.
It is priced at £130 per attendee, which includes ITC First certification and light refreshments at break times.
